DESCRIPTION: Seth Thomas Clock Co., Plymouth Hollow, Conn., "Regulator No. 1" hanging clock with a weight driven, 8 day, timepiece movement in a rosewood veneered case.
CONDITION: The case has been refinished and is in excellent condition. The case base has been reveneered at some point with mahogany veneer. The original dial has been repainted. The hands are original. The lower door glass is a replacement. The upper door glass is original. The interior case label is in excellent original condition. The high point of the clock is the embossed and signed pendulum bob which shows several buildings in the Plymouth Hollow area in the 1860's era.
